Start of 2024
Projects include:
HANNAH GRIMES CENTER FOR ENTREPRENEURSHIP in Keene, NH
Thanks to winning $200k in funding from the Small Business Association’s (SBA’s) Growth Accelerator Fund Competition (GAFC), $150k of which I helped secure from the Stage Two submission, I will be developing and growing a national rural biotech network over the next year. I’m working to onboard new partners, map the ecosystem, setup an online platform, and present a rural biotech track at the annual in person Radically Rural summit in September.
NON-PROFIT DOCUMENTARY PRODUCING - VERMONT COMMUNITY FOUNDATION & TARRANT FOUNDATION with WELL TOLD FILMS
With the Burlington based Tarrant Foundation and Vermont Community Foundation we are in pre-production doing research and outreach for a short documentary tackling a complicated topic. I’m looking forward to collaborating with the talented filmmakers of Well Told Films, located in Montpelier, VT. As a side note, Chad from Well Told has been one to spearhead the Vermont Production Collective and the legislative work being done to bring a stronger Film/TV community to Vermont.
LATCHIS ARTS - MOVIE THEATRE RE-DESIGN
Did you come to the Latchis main theatre in December for the Loud & Clear event highlighting the new audio & visuals in the main theatre? I had the mic for a moment on the main stage to give a teaser to the theatre 4 work coming soon. The project continues with fundraising added onto the agenda, in order to see one of the historical movie theatre spaces transformed into a new experience. Contractor hires and further architectural and interior design work will continue with the Latchis committee. Working with Brattleboro locals had been great - architect Jonathan Saccoccio and designer Matt Maranian known for local Boomerang.
